![]() Google Drive provides unlimited storage space which allows you to share files with others. Google Drive is another cloud storage option which is part of the Google Suite for Education at Penn State. OneDrive provides 1 TB of file storage and makes it easy to share documents, photos, and projects with organizations or people both within and outside of the University. OneDrive is cloud-based storage which is part of the Office 365 suite of applications. Even better, its amazingly simple to switch between these storage options. X FILE STORAGE DRIVERSThe Laravel Flysystem integration provides simple drivers for working with local filesystems, SFTP, and Amazon S3. X FILE STORAGE HOW TOInstructions are available which explain how to manage files, edit documents, and integrate with other external file sharing services, such as Dropbox, Flickr, and others. Laravel provides a powerful filesystem abstraction thanks to the wonderful Flysystem PHP package by Frank de Jonge. It's suggested that you use WebFiles, a web-based application that makes it easy to access and to manage the files on your "U" and "X" Drives. To increase the storage space, visit the PSU Work site. Increase the Storage Allocation of the X DriveĪlthough the "X" drive space starts with only 500 MB of storage, it can be increased to as much as 10 GB. Links and/or instructions are provided below. We suggest that students increase their “X” drive allocation AND change their default storage location to their "X" drive (also known as PASS space). The "X" drive is a central file service provided by the University to all students, faculty, and staff. Quick Resume, which is a feature that lets you suspend and resume multiple games at a time, will work no matter where games are installed.There are several different options for file storage and sharing. Xbox Series X/S optimized games can be stored on external drives, but they won’t be playable unless they’re transferred back to the main NVMe drives. You won’t benefit from the lightning-quick speeds that the NVMe drives provide, however, SSD drives are still considerably quicker than HDD, so if you do go for an external option, opt for an SSD. You can plug in an external HDD or SSD to play Xbox One, Xbox 360 and original Xbox games on. This is good news, as proprietary drives can often be more expensive than components from third-party manufacturers. Microsoft has also revealed that more storage solutions will be on the way, so consumers won’t just be at the mercy of buying the proprietary drive. X FILE STORAGE FULLAnything you store on the NVMe drives will benefit from the full suite of power that the Xbox Series X/S provide. Microsoft has released 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB Storage Expansion Cards that slots into the back of both consoles, much like a memory card. Microsoft’s solution to expanding the Xbox Series X/S’s internal memory with more super-fast NVMe storage is rather elegant, albeit expensive. ![]()
